CLAP FOR HIGH SCORES ON FIRST SIGHT WORD ASSESSMENT!!!

The Sight Word Assessment for Chapter ONE in our "Imagine It" reading series was administered on Friday.  I am proud to say, the majority of students know the four words:  a, the, and, go with automaticity (read words as quickly as they can say their name).   YIPPEE!!!!!  Homework throughout the year is to read the decodables and practice sight words on a daily basis.  Check inside the cover of the decodable for previously introduced sight words and the new sight word.  I will send home a list of games you can play with your child to practice sight words.  There are FIFTY words your child needs to know (with automaticity) by June 2013.  Thank you for partnering with me to reach this goal.
